Yogurt Sundae

Description

This yummy dessert is not only nice to look at and eat but also full of nutritious goodness. Yogurt and walnuts are known to alleviate or reduce skin inflammation, while the fruits add some antioxidants and vitamins.

Ingredients

1 cup full fat plain yogurt

1 lightly sautéed chopped banana* (or 1 cup lightly sautéed chopped figs or mango)

3 squares of dark chocolate, chopped

Chopped walnuts (as toppings)

Honey or maple syrup to taste

Directions

1. Using a sundae glass or in a bowl, place the yogurt, fruit (see sautéed banana recipe below) and chocolate in alternating layers.

2. Sprinkle some chopped walnuts on top and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
