Aluminum is added to traditional antiperspirants to unnaturally plug the sweat glands/hair follicles to prevent sweating. We don’t use this controversial ingredient in our Coconut Deodorant. We have seen a very small percentage of customers develop temporary skin irritation as a result of the additional moisture in this area where there is skin-on-skin contact. This minor irritation typically subsides quickly. If you think this is a true allergic reaction, then we recommend stopping use.
