Green Peanut Butter-Banana Smoothie

Description

As a breakfast drink, this smoothie will jumpstart your day with loads of nutrients that your body can absorb efficiently – even when you have IBS. Leafy greens, such as spinach, are rich in iron, and bananas infuse potassium into your system. It’s a flavorful way to power your day.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh spinach

1 medium frozen banana, sliced

1 cup unsweetened soymilk, preferably vanilla flavor

¼ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1 Tbsp. natural peanut butter

½ tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on high power until smooth. 
  2. Pour into a tall glass and drink.
