Nutrition-Packed Broccoli-Apple-Cranberry Salad


This salad is low-GI and features nutritious broccoli, apples and cranberries. It is low in calories, but loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and other nutrients that are great for alleviating psoriasis and reducing inflammation.


4 cups fresh broccoli florets

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

3 organic apples, chopped

1/4 cup red onion, chopped

1 cup plain yogurt

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey


1. In a large bowl, mix the broccoli florets, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, chopped apples, and chopped onion.

2. In a separate bowl, blend the yogurt, mustard, and honey.

3. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss. Chill and serve.
